Individual Reservation and deposits

The customer (person making this booking) agrees that any and all deposits or payments made to Blue Osa, to hold reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable. The customer (person making this booking) agrees that any deposits or full payments made to Blue Osa, for specific retreats or events are non-refundable and non-transferable. Final Payment for all individual reservations is required 2 weeks before your arrival. (This excludes any conditions placed on other retreats or events.) In making the payment, you agree to these terms.

Payment & Refund Policy - Yoga Teacher Training

PAYMENT SCHEDULE $300 Application Fee (due at enrollment)
•Refundable until 90 days before training starts
•Non-refundable within 90 days of training start date
•Non-transferable
•Applied to your total tuition balance
•Reserves your spot and completes the application process

$500 Confirmation Deposit (due 2 months before training starts)
•Non-refundable and non-transferable
•Secures your reservation in the program
•Note: Blue Osa reserves the right to request this deposit earlier if the program reaches capacity or sells out

$1,000 Single Occupancy Deposit (if you choose single occupancy)
•Non-refundable under all circumstances from the moment of payment
•Required in addition to the $500 confirmation deposit •Not subject to the 90-day refund window •Recommendation: If uncertain about single occupancy, wait until 2-3 months before training to upgrade. You can select double or triple occupancy initially to avoid this deposit (subject to availability)

Remaining Balance (due on first day of training)
•Full tuition balance must be paid before training begins

REFUND POLICY
$300 Application Fee:
•Refundable if cancelled more than 90 days before training starts
•Non-refundable if cancelled 90 days or less before training starts
All other deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable from the moment of payment.

Once the 90-day window has passed, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
•Voluntary withdrawal
•Personal emergencies or family obligations
•Illness, injury, or health concerns (yours or a family member's)
•Bereavement or family loss
•Schedule conflicts
•Dissatisfaction with the program
We understand that life circumstances can be unpredictable and difficult. However, to maintain program quality and manage our commitments to all students, we cannot make exceptions to this policy regardless of the circumstances.

After training begins: No refunds will be issued for any portion of tuition paid, regardless of circumstances.

OCCUPANCY CHANGES
You may request to change from single occupancy to double or triple occupancy to avoid the $1,000 single occupancy deposit, subject to room availability. Once the single occupancy deposit is paid, it is non-refundable even if you change occupancy types.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By submitting any payment and checking the agreement box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Payment & Refund Policy.

Meals

Since we are committed to a smaller carbon footprint, healthy meals made with ingredients from our own farm at Blue Osa are mainly vegan. We rely on our garden and those other local and regional farms to provide us with what is seasonally available. Our cooks make a variety of recipes using this food from the Blue Osa harvest or received from our fellow farmers. We typically provide egg options for breakfast (or lunch) and meat options (usually chicken) 2 or 3 times a week at dinner. We always provide fruit throughout the day for those who need more food, and smoothies/cold-pressed juices may be purchased at the Juice Bar. If you think that you will be hungry at other times during the day, please bring extra snacks with you. We DO NOT provide individually cooked meals and we DO NOT provide kosher meals. You should also remember that while we are able to serve some gluten-free options, we are not a gluten-free kitchen.

Check In + Check Out Times

Our check-in time is at 2:00pm, and our check-out time is at 10:00am. All services at Blue Osa are not available on the day of check-in or check-out. This includes yoga classes, spa services, bar/juice services, etc. For guests leaving later than 10:00 AM, or arriving earlier than 2:00 PM, we are more than happy to keep your luggage secure and safe for you as you wait for your room to be ready. Being an all-inclusive retreat, Meals included in your stay: Dinner on the day of arrival; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on each full day; and breakfast on the day of departure. Mealtimes are typically: 7:30 breakfast 12:30 lunch 6:30 dinner Our kitchen is not available for special meals.

Refunds or Cancellations

Any and all payments made to Blue Osa are final and non-refundable.

A fee for any chargebacks on credit cards

If any chargebacks are made, a 25% administration fee will be deducted.

The Impossibility of Performance

I agree that Blue Osa Yoga Retreat and Spa will not be liable in the event of natural disasters, pandemics, fire, blockades, government order, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Cancelations Due To Covid19/Pandemics

Any monies paid to Blue Osa will be able to be used within a one year from the date that your local and/ or Costa Rican government restrictions are lifted.

Privacy Policy and Legal Statement

Blue Osa Yoga Retreat and Spa is committed to maintaining the strictest confidence of all information relating to our guests and entered on our website. The information you provide will be for the exclusive use of Blue Osa Yoga Retreat and Spa and under penalty of applicable law. We will never give out your e-mail address for any reason. All services cannot be exchanged or credited. Limited wifi is available in the common areas. Availability is not always guaranteed as we are in the jungle.

Duplicate Charges

Any chargebacks made because of duplicate charges will result in a 25% administration fee. ONLY click the submit button ONCE! If you have any issues confirming your reservation or payment, email us to avoid being charged twice.

Transportation Fees

All packages include transportation fees. Additionally, adventure tours also include transportation for two or more people. If only one person is attending, then a surcharge of 50% will be added. With the exception of Osa sanctuary.
